I stumbled upon a site that was OK, but one thing made me a little angry about it. Here the authour writes about the earning potential of Internet Marketing:

Everyones’ time is worth money, be it $5 or $500 per hour and this investment should be factored into the planning of your e-business!
There are costs associated with all aspects of your business, for example, time as I mentioned, hosting costs, TAXES!, cost of any IM tools, subscriptions or learning costs(your profits club !), marketing costs (if you choose the paid route), there are prolly more, but my head hurts right now. Only when your have deducted or accounted for these things can you talk anything about profit.
Furthermore you should aim to make all your actions have ROI (return on investment), otherwise these actions should have either low or no priority at all!
The author shows that he does not care about anything else, but sucking you into the IM hype.

No matter what happens, or no matter what kind of offer comes your way, don’t go for linking to a site that has a bad reputation as it will bring you in the bad books of search engines and is definitely not a good thing on the long run.
Be careful of the outbound links that you place on your site; a site with a bad reputation can hurt your own. Sometimes site that was once good will start using unethical methods that the search engines do not allow. Your reputation is on the line so be careful where your outbound links lead the search engines to. Don’t take the “easy” way out and spam or use unethical tactics because most of them don’t stand a chance against the search engines of today. By staying diligent you will build hundreds of high PR links that are relevant to your site.

Don’t leave all of that money on the table because of a false e fear of saturation. It is not only possible to have people from around the world buying your affiliate products but it is a reality of thousands of people who started out just like you. The myth of saturation will only hold you back so don’t feed into it.
Although there is some truth about them saying affiliate marketing is hard; this is only in the beginning when you have to learn the basics. It might have been hard for them but you will focus on what works. Nothing but another myth. Don’t doubt yourself by believing all of these false claims; find people who know the business then do what has made them successful.
Affiliate marketing can be hard work if you are trying to do all the heavy lifting yourself. It’s all about doing what works. Affiliate marketing doesn’t have to be complicated, what you need to do sis what works and don’t be sidetracked by the myths. If you use your brain you will be able to take the myths for what they are.

Since about 2 years now my friend and business partner and trading ace, my mate Mikey or Pikey Haran as I affectionately call him, has tried to convert me to the dark side.
Now I must say that I have finally been “turned” into Darth Chen the Sithlord apprentist padwan part time forex trader. I had some time on my hands and actually watched a forex starter video course that I bought the rights to for a project that Mike and I are running right now.

Using my new found Dark Sith like jedi Powers and following Pikey’s instructions, I made about $200 demo dollars in about 2 minutes, but then got cocky and decide to go it alone and lost $900 demo dollars! Oh well, easy come easy go!
Mikey makes a whopping 30-50% on his trading account every month and loses between 10-20% … do the maths. Where are you going to find a bank that will give you 10% up to 50% interest every single month!!!
I’m not trying to sell you anything here. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you. Forex is a tough game and you could lose your shirt easily, but the rewards are stellar if you are the right kind of person and have money to burn on an education.
Pikey charges $1000 an hour for mentoring and he doesn’t do it one to one, he does groups only and his groups haave to be minimum of 5 people, otherwise its really not worth his while. So the Guy earns about 5K per hour plus what ever he makes during a day… sweet! I get his tutorlage for nothing, nil, nix, hee! hee!
I’m just playing with pretend money for now, but lets see. I have to master a few Jedi arts before I will put my real dollars on the line and its a really steep learning curve.
I’ll let you know how I get on if I have the time.
